One little thing at the time

Persistence lesson

Today after I went skating I kind of lured myself into the “I have done enough mode”. It usually works and I give up the proper work-out for something easier like cooking or reading blogs. So while I was reading a blog I follow I got inspired to work a little harder because Janet is working so hard and she has a lot of determination, she has lost 64 pounds so far.

So I got up and did my full work-out. Then I was exhausted and my daughter picked her avatar and started to do some exercise too, then she picked some exercises to do together…so I could says no because I try to teach her that moving is fun and because IT IS fun when we do it together.

I exceeded my goal and I am pretty happy with myself now. Thanks to Janet for inspiring me to push myself and for the persistence lesson as well.

  1. WOW!! I am happy that my emotional outburst yesterday actually did some good. Well, apart from pushing myself to work out for 73 minutes yesterday. I’ll get those pounds rolling again. I will write about my training later in the day, since I need to pick up my scooter now…and go shopping…and visit my remaining best friend…and prepare for tomorrow’s lif-saving measures course and OFCOURSE do my workout. Thanks for tending to me, you are great!! 😉

  2. At the time I was losing weight, I really didn’t have anyone to complain to, or push me, or even relate to what I was going through. I think that’s why I enjoy following you two so much, and I’m so happy that you have each other. 🙂

    • I am too! I think that this blog and all the support that came with it is what makes the difference with the other attempt to lose weight. This time is the good time! Thank for following and helping 🙂
