One little thing at the time

Measurements and photos

I should have done that from the start but it’s better late than never. Here are my photos and measurements so you can see my progress and I can see it too even if I am going through a plateau. Looking at those we’ll be a great motivator for me because I won’t like what I see. Since someone asked I am about 165 cm or 5’5″.

Let’s start with the measurements and keep the scary stuff for the end loll

  1. *wildly applauding* That is fantastic!

  2. YOU ARE DOING GREAT! I am sure you are feeling great too!!! That is so awesome! 😀 I’m sure I’ll be sharing some measurements too… In the beginning I thought I would measure every week! LOL! I don’t know what I was thinking! was I going to share every single little millimeter I lost? LOL! I like it that you share also in metric units… I understand those better… I write in English units just because that’s what I know most people understand though 😀 I will share some pics soon I guess! 😀

    • Yeah english is not my first language but it’s a working progress lol We use a bit of both here in Canada because when we changed over to metric our parents kept using the other system so I am all mixed up with miles and kilometers, inches and centimeters but for for certain things like thermometers I understand Celcius better than Fahrenheit lol

  3. Yay for metric! I was beginning to think I was the only one on the net who used it, even though most of the world does! 😉 (China, Europe, Australia, Canada (?), Britain, New Zealand, India, Indonesia, most of Africa…)

    You’re doing awesome!

Q1. Oh, and how did you get a table to work? Just standard HTML for tables, or does wordpress use something different? I’m fairly new to wordpress, and still figuring things out.

Q2. How did you get the javascript gadget in your sidebar (that shows where your visitors are from) to work? I can’t seem to find a javascript widget in wordpress. *sigh* Sorry about the techie questions!

  4. Oh, and Q3 – how tall are you? Just curious 😉 A lot of people don’t post their heights, and it just helps me see where I fit in on the scheme of things.

  5. Thanks for mentioning the height because I would never have thought of it and you are right it’s kind of important.

Canada changed over to metric a long time ago but since everybody was used to the other system we kept using it but we were taught metric in school and the other system we learned from our parents so it’s mixed up really…

I feel so dum with everything computer and internet so having someone asking me about technical stuff is kind of amazing loll

    Here we go!

1- I did the table on WORD and pasted it when I wrote my post directly on wordpress. Most of the time I write from Window live writer(it’s free) because I find it easier to use but because I was creating a “page” I couldn’t use it.

2- I just saw that map on someone else’s blog and clicked on it to get the code so just clic on mine and you should get there. You can pick different color or even a globe that turns. Sorry it’s been a while…but I think that You copy the code then you go in Dashboard, widget and get a text widget drag it into your side bar and then you open it and paste the code in it. I think there was different type of code available but you have to pick html…try it end tell me.

    3- I am 165 cm

    I hope it helped! 🙂

    • Thanks – I’ll give it a go!

Augh! Computer stuff. We’re all expected to just *know* this stuff these days. I’m starting to feel old, and I’m only 41. I don’t think 41 is THAT ancient! Not yet…;-)

  6. I love your charts and photos!!! Keep up the good work!!

  7. Hey girl! Looks like you lost a lot of weight! Where’s your head?? LOL

Honestly though, the accountablity of putting your photo up is HUGE! I’m there for you. Let’s do this!

  8. You’re looking good! 🙂

  9. I can totally see the difference! Awesome job!
For some reason I pictured you as a blonde, though. lol
    Keep up the great work!

    • Oh my! loll it’s funny the the mental picture of people we make in our head when we have not seen them! I don’t even see the difference myself on the photos. I can tell you that my belly looks so much bigger from my head 😉

  10. Well done! Keep up the good work!
